This is a blend of premium quality Ceylon black tea with the essential oil of bergamot, harvested from the Calabrian region in southern Italy. The two ingredients are carefully hand blended and then left to sit, to allow the natural oils to delicately infuse together. The bergamot oil has a refreshing and vibrant flavour, that is seamlessly balanced with the muscatel tones of Ceylon black tea.
Place a heaped teaspoon (2.5 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 85ºc–95ºc and allow to infuse for 3–4 minutes. Strain the tea and serve.
