Having awareness of our values has brought greater clarity and confidence to the way we make decisions. As a team, it guides us across every part of our business — from which certifications we pursue, to the organisations and not-for-profits we partner with, how we make our products and where we choose to do so.
We call this our values manifested — the tangible ways our core values come to life through conscious, aligned decisions made within our business each day.
Organic
We are proud to have majority of our range certified organic with ACO. When we started back in 2006, “organic” was still niche — grounded in health and care for the earth, not yet part of big business. Today, as demand grows for more sustainable and responsible practices, organic is here to stay. Importantly, it has helped lay the foundation for the next evolution: systems that are truly regenerative by nature.
Fair trade
At Love Tea we choose to fairly source the majority of our ingredients directly from the growing communities and cooperatives who produce them. We pay additional premiums for the ingredients grown on fair trade farms, and we are continually learning how we can have a more meaningful and positive impact on the lives of growers and their families at origin. Our goal is to have every relevant component in our supply chain sourced as a fair trade minimum.
1% for our planet
We truly love our home planet. We want to look after it and live harmoniously within it. We believe we can be part of the positive change to look after our mother earth, by improving the way we conduct ourselves and operate our businesses while we’re here. We are proud to be one of the first Australian businesses to committed to donating 1% of annual revenues to a range of environmental organisations as part of our dedication to 1% for the Planet.
Naturopathically designed
Our goal is to design products that support each person on their journey to wellness, helping them become the best version of themselves. Our founding naturopath, Emma Watson, continues to dedicate her time, energy, and care into researching the therapeutic efficacy of our unique blends. Our intention is to
create products that offer optimum therapeutic benefit, while also providing exceptional flavour.
