Assam CTC is organically grown on a fair trade family tea estate in North East India between Bangladesh and Myanmar. Named CTC for its production process, the tea leaves are crushed, torn and curled to enhance its unique flavour. Offering a full bodied, strong and malty flavour, it is best enjoyed with milk, making it the perfect choice for those who enjoy a traditional breakfast tea.
Place a heaped teaspoon (2.5 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 85ºC–95ºC and allow to infuse for 3–4 minutes. Strain the tea and serve. Add milk and sweetener if desired.
