1% for the Planet

We are dedicated to donating 1% of annual revenues to a range of environmental organisations as part of our commitment to 1% for the Planet. We believe it is our environmental responsibility to reduce our negative impact on the environment and continue to offer our support to not-for-profit organisations whose sole motivation is to address the environmental crisis for future generations.

What is 1% for the Planet?

1% for the Planet is a global network of businesses, nonprofits and individuals who are united around the world by working together for a healthier planet. Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, the members have collectively provided more than $225 million to environmental non-profits to date.

How does 1% for the Planet work?

1% for the Planet offers businesses around the world a channel to give back at least one per cent of their revenue to a selection of environment-oriented nonprofits that are actively working to achieve a more positive impact on the planet.

Our non-profit partners

We have been donating to a range of organisations over the last 7 years. From Friends of the Earth Australia and Rainforest Rescue to Wilderness Society and 1% for the Planet themselves.

How can you contribute to 1% for the Planet?

Every person has the ability to make a difference. There are many amazing brands and companies that have committed to 1% for the Planet, we have created a list of our favourites here. You can also become an individual member and opt to donate 1% of your salary, or volunteer your time with one of the approved not-for-profits, you can learn more about this here.
