Green Chai

"With a refreshing take on traditional chai tea, we welcome our latest uplifting blend this winter, Green Chai."

- Emma Watson

Why has Green Chai been created?

Green Chai was created to offer a fresh take on the traditional black tea base chai tea. It offers a refreshing chai when brewed without milk, clean and earthy. Green tea has traditionally been enjoyed for its powerful antioxidant content, and the range of Ayurvedic spices have traditionally been used to support digestive function.

What are the benefits of Green Chai?

Green Chai contains revitalising spices including fennel, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and cloves which have traditionally been used to help support healthy digestion, immune function and circulation. Green tea has long been enjoyed for its high antioxidant content. This blend offers a warming, invigorating and uplifting chai tea.

Who might enjoy Green Chai?

Green Chai may be the perfect blend for you if...

• You are looking for a unique take on traditional chai tea
• You already enjoy chai tea and/or green tea
• You are looking for a chai option, with a lower caffeine content than traditional chai tea, or want to avoid black tea
• You are looking for a chai tea which is great served iced or without milk.

How many cups of Green Chai should you drink per day?
We generally suggest 1-2 cups per day. If you are someone who needs to be mindful of your caffeine intake it would be best consumed in the first half of the day to avoid feeling stimulated before sleep.

Does Green Chai contain caffeine?
Yes, this product contains green tea, which contains caffeine. This blend will contain less caffeine than a traditional black tea based chai, or a full cup of green tea, although caffeine will still be present. We generally recommend enjoying caffeinated teas in the first half of the day, to avoid feeling stimulated before sleep.

Can I have Green Chai if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Green Chai contains Licorice root which is not recommended for those who are pregnant, or suffer from hypertension. Green chai also contains green tea which has caffeine and is not recommended while breastfeeding.

Can I give Green Chai to children?
We don't recommend Green Chai for children as it does contain caffeine.
