Genmaicha has been a treasured tea in Japan for centuries. Australian sourced sencha, stone ground matcha, and puffed brown rice have been combined to create this powerful and unique green tea. This blend is rich in antioxidants and chlorophyll, and offers a mildly uplifting effect from its caffeine content. This is a gentle and well balanced green tea, offering a nutty, fresh and grounding taste.
Place a heaped teaspoon (2.5 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 75ºc–85ºc and allow to infuse for 3–4 minutes. Strain the tea and serve. Best consumed without milk or sweetener.
