Perhaps you’ll bring a proven track record in sales and marketing, have solid experience within an operations based role or simply have experience growing a start up in an ever changing market. Role Overview
You’ll be a key part of the management team, so you’ll need to think big while still being able to keep a keen eye on detail. You’ll need to love keeping the team motivated and on track, and be able to problem solve on the run, as both new opportunities and challenges arise.

As we are a small team, you will be required to work on a truly wide variety of tasks, you’ll be on your own at times, and there will also be some administrative duties where you will be responding to customer queries, processing orders and basically doing anything that needs to be done relating to managing the Sales and marketing operations.
Regardless of task or title, we are after someone who will be constantly looking for ways we can improve our performance and reporting this directly to the two directors and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

– Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to expand brand awareness
– Lead the brand planning process across the sales and marketing team
– Prioritise and develop effective partnerships with key customers both domestically and internationally
– Unlock sales potential by assessing retailers, distributors, competitors and market demographics
– Leading a small team of key sales marketing staff (2 – 4)
– Ensuring key objectives (KPI’s) for both business and each staff member are achieved
– Developing and implementing systems for staff engagement and development
– Ensuring that all employees understand their individual objectives and are committed to achieving them in alignment with the brand’s direction
– Work with directors to establish training needs for all staff and ensure they are achieved
– Motivated by a strong growth agenda

Required skills and experience

– At least three years of relevant experience directly relating to sales and marketing
– Excellent communication skills, and an understanding of their importance not only for marketing but also for achieving goals and solving problems
– Strong people management skills
– Be able to set priorities and motivate your team towards achieving common goals
– Advanced data analysis skills
– Advanced understanding and awareness of business commerciality
– Experience with eCommerce platform, WordPress an advantage
– Experience with email software, Mailchimp an advantage
– Experience working with founders, directors and a growing brand
– Strong knowledge of market trends and where fit
– Passion for healthy living
