Raes on Wategos has an Artist in Residence programme, inaugurated by painter Stanislas Piechaczek in 2019. Each artist is hand-selected by Raes and invited to create a collection of pieces from the artist’s medium, inspired by their hotel and home. Sydney-based artist Eytan Messiah was selected as Rae’s Artist in Residence for 2022.
