Health benefits of white tea
White tea is renowned for its high antioxidant properties and low caffeine content. White Tea has traditionally been used for its anti-inflammatory qualities, as a supplement for cleansing, and to help reduce the signs of premature aging.
The presence of polyphenols, flavonoids and tannins in White Tea are thought to help reduce the signs of aging by assisting in the recovery of damaged skin cells and to improve oral health by stopping the growth of bacteria that causes plaque formation.
When should I drink white tea?
White tea also contains less caffeine compared to Green and Black tea varieties, so it can be enjoyed throughout the morning and later in day.
Our white tea selection offers a wide variety of different grades, from a snow bud variety of White Tea grown at high altitude, to an especially carefully hand picked and produced Silver Needles or a more of a fruity blend of White tea Rose and Goji berries.
